ENTERTAINMENT & EVENT SALES COORDINATOR

 

WORK FROM HOME $50,000 p.a + SUPER + BONUSES (est. 4-10k)

 

Melbourne Entertainment Company is looking for an enthusiastic, influential, well-spoken, full time entertainment and event sales coordinator to assist in the daily operations of our business. WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:

  • Developing concepts and quotes for entertainment aligning to various events
  • Strategically taking a holistic perspective on events to up-sell more than entertainment
  • Converting sales & invoicing clients
  • Scheduling events, managing and implementing bookings - this is end to end client management
  • Managing, booking and briefing entertainers
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Coordinating logistics with venues
  • Building customer and brand awareness & loyalty
  • Daily, weekly & monthly administration tasks
  • Running errands and organising equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A car and valid license
  • A mobile phone that you are willing to use for work purposes
    • Unlimited calls & texts & sufficient data
  • A private work uninterrupted space in your own residence with:
    • Fast Internet connection
    • Desk
    • Laptop or Desktop computer (must be relatively new & quick, preferably a Macbook)
  • Experience in entertainment, event management or hospitality industries with success in customer service
  • Efficiency & speed with using computers & Google Spreadsheets (excel)
  • Exceptional communication skills, phone manner and customer service is paramount
  • Ability to be self-driven whilst working independently on multiple tasks without supervision
  • Autonomy in problem solving with clear vision and creative thinking
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Motivated for business growth, continuous improvement and sales success

OFFER & RENUMERATION:

  • Beginning in part-time capacity throughout March ($26ph inc. Super)
  • Commencing full-time hours from April onwards
  • Ongoing full-time contract for $50,000 + super + bonuses
  • Bonuses are expected to fall between $4k-$10k per annum and are based on profit increase on the previous year & personal performance
  • 40 hours a week commitment
  • Usually Monday to Friday 8h days
    • Rotating swapping 2-3 hours on Saturdays as required
  • Flexibility to work weekends when required
  • The ability to attend events outside of working hours when required
